LASU HOLDS STAKEHOLDERS MEETING WITH HER STUDENT

The vice Chancellor of lagos state university on the 21th June,2016 holds a stakeholders meeting with the students of the institution, the meeting was ignited  to decide the journey so far and the journey ahead of the the university.
 Lagos state university has being going through series of change since the new V.C resumed office,  he started with the quality assurance programme and just last week the university decided to compensate the university scholars, all this new idea,  I must say seemed alien to the great institution, however since we are in the era of Change, things are now taking great change in the institution.
Also present at the event was the New, Dean student Affairs Dr Obayori who retirated the fact that the school management and the students populace need to let peace reign so that the change the school is currently going through won’t be hindered.
The quarterly event was also braced by the Student union president Sekoni Tayo was also indicated that the students of the institution is really happy with the peace reigning in Lasu,  however he told the university vice Chancellor the Faculty of social science kitchen that was demolished by the university, should be re-looked into.
The discussion segment was not left out also,  since this was the main reason why the meeting was arranged. Issues ranging from
School marshal harassment
The non challant attitude of the librarian in the school library
The issue of mass failure that occurred last semester (GNS issue)
The issue of school identify card
Over population of student in a single class
Demolition of the FSS kitchen.
Creation of recreation centers.
Transparency in accessment.
The issue of indecent dressing
The vice Chancellor and the school management team ranging from, Dean of facilities to the provost of school of medicine were all address,  The vice Chancellor called upon the Registrar to end up the quarterly event.
