Just when LASU was the distinguished Tony Elumelu to the school, students of the school nevee failed to make it yet another rewarding day at the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, FUNAAB for an inter-university debate and Public Speaking competition! The #LASU Team was ably represented by: Akinsiwaju #Sanya , 400L English Education, Tiamiyu #Hezekiah 200L Law, Lawal Ademola #Ibraheem 300L Marketing, Apatira #Simisola 300L English Education, Uzuegbu #Faith 300L English Language, Ogunsanya #Fuhad 400L Bus. Admin, Ajekigbe #Semirah 200L Botany! The competition had 6 Nigerian universities invited but 4 schools were present for the competition, they are: The University of Ibadan, UI; Federal University of Technology, Akure, FUTA; host university FUNAAB and the prestigious Lagos State University, LASU! The University of Ibadan came 3rd place, FUNAAB came 2nd while LASU came 1st.
